Barb is at home out in nature with a camera in hand and she has a passion for sharing the experience. For over a decade, Barb’s travel photos of the Pacific Northwest and beyond have been published regularly in the Bend Bulletin and other newspapers and magazines, from Alaska Beyond in-flight magazine to Oregon Wine Press and the Cascade Journal. When leading workshops, she shares tips and techniques she’s learned in studying photography for years including college studies with California photography masters. Prior to dedicating herself to travel photography, Barb has had almost 20 years experience writing to simplify technology. It’s taught her how to break down shooting and editing photos into easy-to-follow steps for all experience levels. She is well-versed in Nikon, Canon, and Sony systems and has taught dozens of students how to get set up and use advanced techniques in Lightroom.
