Photo Workshop in the Old Mill, Bend OR
with Barb Gonzalez
Learn how to take stunning flower photos or up your skills in flower photography.
We will start at sunrise on the Deschutes River at the Old Mill. This will be an opportunity to get photos with the pastel colors of the sky and the flowers lining the river leading to Mount Bachelor in the background.
From there we will visit the pockets of gardens and fields of flowers that surround the Old Mill as each has a lesson to teach.
One secret to jaw-dropping photos is to tell a story in each photo. You will learn to create images that help your viewer experience the beauty that inspired you to take the photo.
The second session after breakfast we will work more with lighting, using it to create mood and depth in the photo.
Macro photography will be briefly covered for those who have capable phones or would like to learn on their digital camera (may use extensions if you don’t have a macro lens).
