David M. Cobb is an award-winning professional photographer known for his photographs of nature throughout the world, and particularly for his images of the Pacific Northwest. His garden and flower images have appeared in “Nature’s Best Photography,†“American Gardener,†“Organic Gardening,†“Northwest Travel,†“The Oregonian,†and in numerous calendars, cards, books, and other printed materials. David’s current book project includes Japanese Gardens of North America for Tuttle Publishing. Now as I photograph throughout the US and around the world, I am continually awed by the broad spectrum of nature’s offerings—from a delicate heliconia flower on the exotic island of Roratonga to the sweeping Icelandic landscape. My particular fondness for the Pacific Northwest is reflected in my local outdoor shots. My goal is to capture the wonders I see in nature for the enjoyment of all those with an eye for the extraordinary. David is teaching photo workshops and leads photo tours at the Cascade Center of Photography. www.dmcobbphoto.com
