Zack Schnepf

Zack is an award winning photographer specializing in fine art landscape photography, and Photoshop processing. Zack has been teaching Photoshop for over 11 years, and photography for over 8 years.“Art is in my blood. My father is a well known poster artist and painter. My mom is a painter, and print maker and my brother is an incredible designer who works for a firm in Manhattan. Art is a way of life for my family, and I will hopefully pass it on to my daughter as well.”“The love of nature is also something that my family and I are passionate about. I’ve been hiking, biking, rock climbing and backpacking since I was little. My parents taught me to appreciate the beauty in nature and to help preserve it for all to enjoy.”I love photographing the landscape. I seek out these types of locations to experience true wilderness, away from crowds, cities, and the stress of everyday life. Visiting these wild areas is a form of meditations for me, where I get to completely relax and appreciate the incredible beauty of nature. I try to convey the emotion I was feeling, and the sense of wonder I have when I see such beauty in nature. That expression through my images, is what photography and art in general is all about for me.
